What's New

On December 13, 2007 Duke Power submitted a COL application for 2 AP 1000 reactors at William Lee.
MidAmerican announced plans on December 13 to submit a COLA for a plant in Boise, Idaho in late 2008.
On December 11, AREVA filed for Design Certification of their Evolutionary Power Reactor (EPR).
On December 11, Exelon signed a forging order with GE-Hitachi for two ESBWRs.
On November 29, NRC docketed STP Nuclear Operating Company's COL application for two ABWRs at the South Texas Project site.
On November 28, Dominion submitted a COL application for one ESBWR at North Anna.
On November 28, NRC issued an ESP for North Anna (1 ESBWR)
On November 12, Exelon selected the ESBWR for its planned 2008 COL application in Matagorda or Victoria County, Texas.
On October 26, Florida Power & Light tentatively selected the AP1000 for its March 2009 COLA at Turkey Point.
